We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships, with a choice of settings including our charming Grade II listed barn or Skylark Suite. Each space offers its own atmosphere, allowing you to shape your day exactly as you imagine it.

Here are answers to some of the most common questions about weddings at Skylark Country Club, from guest numbers to ceremony options and catering.

If you need anything more, our team is always on hand to help and guide you through every step.

How many guests can you accommodate?

Our spaces are designed to host both intimate weddings and larger celebrations, with capacity for up to 120 seated guests and additional evening guests.

Can we have both our ceremony and reception at Skylark?

Yes, you can host your entire wedding day with us. We are fully licensed for civil ceremonies and offer a choice of settings for both your ceremony and reception.

Do we have exclusive use of the venue?

Exclusive use options are available, allowing you and your guests to enjoy a private and uninterrupted experience throughout your day.

Is catering included in your wedding packages?

Catering is an integral part of the Skylark experience, with a range of menu options available to suit your day, all prepared by our in house kitchen team.

Can we customise our wedding menu?

Absolutely. Our chefs will work closely with you to create a menu that reflects your preferences, including options for dietary requirements and personal touches.

We had our wedding at Skylark on Monday and it was the most beautiful day. The skylark team are amazing, they make the day run so smoothly and go above and beyond to make sure everything is okay and how you want it. Amy was our wedding coordinator and she is a star! We were contacted regularly throughout the lead up and meetings etc were always scheduled in plenty of time. Amy also listened to how we wanted the decor to be set up and it all looked so perfect on the day. The actual day was like clock work - all ran so smoothly and all the staff knew where they needed to be and when. The food was so delicious and the portion sizes are excellent. The DJ included in our package was great and the sweet cart and photo booth were a lovely extra to the evening! The next day, all our decorations were packed up beautifully ready for us to collect including any left over cupcakes (we had a cupcake tower and these were also all labelled according to flavour which made our lives so much easier!) All of our guests were so impressed with the venue & couldn’t believe the package price we got it for. Thank you Amy & all the wedding staff members at skylark for making our day so wonderful! Skylark made our wedding day absolutely perfect and we cannot recommend them enough! The venue itself is simply stunning, the barn is so gorgeous, it’s what made us fall in love with this venue! The whole day ran like clockwork, the food was gorgeous, we and our guests were all treated like royalty and nothing was too much! We took a very DIY approach with our decorations as we wanted that personal touch, and the team set everything up perfectly and returned it to us in great condition. We were over the moon with how it all looked, so huge credit to the team for the set up for us. I don’t know where to even start. We honestly had the most amazing wedding day. It was everything we had ever dreamed of and more. Dani You are absolutely amazing and made sure everything ran smoothly on the day and prior. All the staff were all fantastic and went above and beyond for us all. There was one girl in particular that came to my rescue and let me use her lip balm as I left mine at the hotel. We had so many compliments on how amazing the food was, hats off to the chef as it was absolutely delicious. We want to say a massive thank you to Steve also as he always made sure we had anything we wanted. Wedding are so glad we chose skylark for our wedding venue. The whole day from start to finish was just perfect. Thank you so much for being part of our forever. Lots of love from
